You may have noticed I didn't get a chance to post yesterday. It was a crazy busy party weekend for us. Saturday we went to dinner for Michelle's birthday, then partied till all hours of the night for Brandon, then got up early for Sammie's party Sunday morning. I am not sure I have ever said this before but, I am glad it's Monday!
So happy birthday to my little one, who turned 5 yesterday! My little Sammie, just so you know, is birthday-phobic. If there is such a thing. She gets anxiety about parties. Bless her little heart. She doesn't want to open presents in front of people, she wont play party games and she hates the birthday song. So how do I make my girl feel special on her day and not stress her out? Well, it's hard. So we opted for a a super tiny (no singing!) tea party.Stay tuned for more on that. It was a fun theme to play with and super low key. Just Sammie's style. She was happy and had a great time. To me, I felt like I fell a little short on the celebrating for her but it's what she was comfortable with and that's all that matters.
So here is the card I made for my little babe, Notice the little Tea for Two DSP. Perfect for our little theme. Thanks for stopping by today.
Oh and happy belated birthday to my cousin, Ashley yesterday too!

Our granddaughter was the same way, in fact at anyone's birthday would shout NO at the top of her lungs when we started singing. I think she got over it about 6 or 7. But what a shame she didn't enjoy the family time. She was also scared to death of Santa. As a huge Santa collector I wasn't able to put my Santas out for about 3 years! Good luck!
